Physical Sciences Complex

In 2014, the University of Maryland unveiled a brand new, 160,246 square-foot complex for physical science students and faculty. This complex is a collaborative space that encourages interaction and imagination campus-wide, and has partnerships with the National Institute of Science and Technology, the NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center, and the National Institutes of Health. The innovative design of the facility includes a multi-story elliptical glass cone that opens to the sky, along with an accessible rooftop garden, courtyard, and open atrium.
