Community Partner Liaison
Northwestern Connections, founded in Fall 2010, is composed of stakeholders from across the University of Maryland and administrators at Northwestern High School. The group seeks to build a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship by bolstering currently existing programs and researching and initiating new programs while establishing a formal partnership between the University of Maryland and Northwestern High School. This relationship aspires to decrease dropout rates and increase high school student preparedness for post-secondary education.
This program is coordinated by the Leadership and Community Service-Learning (LCSL) unit within the Adele H. Stamp Student Union and is supported by the Division of Administration & Finance.
